Valley View is a 1,600 s.f. wood shop addition to an existing earth berm house.  Like the house, the wood shop is a partially buried structure utilizing the energy from the earth to both heat and cool the space.  A hot water radiant concrete slab constructed of interlocking insulation panels with integrated tubing channels heats the spaces.
